The decision to permanently shut down the Tihange 2 and Doel 3 reactors has opened up an unprecedented industrial project in terms of its scope and duration. Electrabel is preparing the dismantling of these installations and eventually of the other Belgian reactors. This project will require the expertise and skills of many Belgian and foreign industrialists, already known or to be integrated.

In this context, SWITCH and AGORIA invite you to the Decommissioning Day 2023,

on the afternoon of June 14 in Domaine de Naxhelet in Wanze,
near the Tihange nuclear power plant

A meeting to share information and networking between actors of the decommissioning and the treatment of equipment, materials and waste that will result from it (nuclear and non-nuclear).

Electrabel and SCK CEN will bring their vision and the information available to position oneself on the market of dismantling of nuclear power plants in Belgium. They will also be present to meet the participants.

For those who are not yet in contact with Electrabel or the decommissioning,
Electrabel is pleased to open its new exhibition on the Tihange nuclear power plant and the preparations for its decommissioning.

Registrations for this option are closed.

b. Reconnect with your acquaintances, exchange the latest news, advance your projects

For actors already in contact with Electrabel and decommissioning,
The networking area is open before the official program to allow companies, whether integrators and/or solution providers, to meet or get closer in an informal way.
